I couldn't care less but considering her job, yeah, I was kind of poor judgement on the timing.

Her getting pregnant her 1st season isn't ideal anyway, whether she's married or not. I'd imagine her bosses (i.e. AllevaP) are not all that thrilled

This. You don't accept a job then get pregnant out of wedlock. This makes no sense.

According to her bio, she doesn't have any kids yet. Nobody knows her situation at all. Maybe she's been trying to have kids for awhile and has been unsuccessful. Over the age of 35, it gets very difficult for a woman to get pregnant.

It doesn't matter one ounce if she's married or not. That's nobody's business but her own.

I'm assuming most of the people with selfish responses in this thread have never gone through any difficulties trying to conceive children or had any family/friends that have.

Even if it was unplanned, that's life...it happens; and I'm sure the team will be just fine.

If she was 16 I would agree. But she's 39 freaking years old and is successful and makes a ton of money. She has earned the right to have a kid on her own terms.

Poor judgement.

bullshite. Starting a family=poor judgement? What a bunch of judgmental retards.

No, it is poor judgement to know your job and take a crap ton of money for basically one month out of the year, And not work that month.

I mean male athletes are not even allowed at their children's births if it conflicts with a game.
ETA: it is planned this day and age, not like it is a illness that you get out of the blue.

This is incredibly false.

Congrats to coach. They aren't winning the national title this year so I won't worry about her missing any time in the postseason.

It could, but maybe it won't. Said in the article that summit had a kid during a national championship season.

Only this year were baseball players allowed to take off the day of the birth, but before that they were not, and NFL players can't. You have never seen when they show on the jumbotron congratulations it's a boy.

This thread and some of the responses in it only confirm to me how incredibly selfish, hypocritical, and overall retarded the general public is. Like I needed something else to confirm it.

Who the hell are you to tell a 39 year old lady who has more than enough money she shouldn't have a baby?

Please explain how her age has anything to do with poor judgement.
