I personally wouldn't mind seeing us going to Under Armor, they would gladly take us

It's pretty obvious Oregon gets special treatment and more attention with Nike, same thing with MSU and Adidas, if we went to UA we wouldn't get special treatment, but neither would anyone else with UA, I think they would expand our brand like they've done with Auburn

that makes it sound like LSU is some scrub program hoping that a major company will pick them up and throw some free cleats at it.

Maryland is the Alma mater of UA founder... Obviously they get the hook up.

So LSU should go with Southern Marsh.

I'm not against Nike, but with all teams they sponsor there isn't a lot of individual attention given besides to Oregon, LSU is a national powerhouse and I think UA would be salivating to get a contract with us, Maryland has had a decent amount of ALT uniforms in the past, but other than that I don't see nearly the amount of special treatment from UA as there is with Nike to Oregon

LSU is very traditional and doesn't want all the jerseys and stuff like that. I'm sure if we said we want new pro combat stuff they would do it for us.

What sort of "special treatment" are you looking for?

Nike is top of the line, and I'd rather have the best company. Better to be a big fish in a big pond than the biggest fish in a small pond.

I wouldn't want adidas within 1,000 miles of LSU, and I feel almost the same about Under Armour. Although Nike makes some merchandise that looks like absolute garbage, you can still find decent LSU merchandise in Nike.

I look at schools like Michigan (which is going back to Nike in 2016), UCLA, Louisville, Texas A&M, Miss. State and just shake my head at just how bad all of their crap looks. And Under Armour isn't much better.
