Aaron Nola looks unreal in his first two starts, LeMahieu killing it in Colorado, Gausman earning a spot in the rotation, and now Goody

There are more LSU guys out there but you can't turn on baseball tonight without them mentioning LSU in some fashion

Also....

All CPM players

Rumbelow also made his NLB debut earlier this year. Mahtook made his MLB debut this year. Landry has been doing well, in AAA now. Matt Clark made his MLB debut last year. We've actually had quite a few guys breaking through in the past year. It's been great to see

Matt Clark is boning the Astros on field reporter; he's doing just fine.

If he doesn't get traded he won't make 20 this year. Between injury and ineffectiveness he has pitched more out of a long relief role. 4 starts since coming off the DL, 2 games he allowed 0 runs, 2 he allowed a combined 11 runs. So consistency is an issue.

It's pretty amazing, when you look at it, what that 2009 team is doing now.
C - Micah Gibbs - AAA
1B - Sean Ochinko - AAA
2B - DJ LeMahieu - MLB All Star
3B - Derek Helenihi - none
SS- Austin Nola - AAA
OF - Mikie Mahtook - MLB/AAA
OF - Jared Mitchell - AAA
OF - Leon Landry - AAA
OF - Ryan Schimpf - AAA
DH - Blake Dean - Head Coach at UNO
P - Louis Coleman - MLB/AAA
P - Anthony Ranaudo - MLB
P - Austin Ross - AAA

AAA he has 9 starts in 2 years and is currently in AAA
quote:

P - Louis Coleman - MLB/AAA
hasn't pitched in the majors this year
quote:

OF - Mikie Mahtook - MLB/AAA
saw 20 AB earlier this year due to injuries. Struggling pretty bad right now actually

but it is a ton of talent in the high minors...

Tentative. There have been rumblings of him getting moved to the pen.

he's been back and forth this year

right, which is why i put both, just to show that he has played at that level. he was actually the first player from that team to play in the majors

so he has played in both the majors and AAA. and he's actually turned things around as of late. He's batting .343 in his last 10 games

Just wanted to add that Jacoby Jones was just dealt from Pittsburgh to Detroit for Joakim Soria. Recently promoted to AA by Pittsburgh. Curious to see how he does with the Tigers.
