Nice story about Fournette

From a guy who posts on another board (Dawg fan who lives in Louisiana)...
quote:
Met Leonard Fournette today
We met Les Miles at a fundraiser for the Baton Rouge children's hospital this past summer. We are doing a fundraiser for my daughter's disease this weekend and Les signed some stuff for us to auction off. We went to the football offices today to pick the stuff up and Fournette was there signing the jersey they are auctioning off for the South Carolina flood relief. He was a good dude. Very respectful to us. He even had time for a picture with my daughter.
He had his hat on backwards when we first saw him. When they took the picture, he told my wife "hold on ma'am" and turned it back around straight for the picture. I saw that as a pretty good gesture from him.

All the best for your friend's daughter. Thanks for posting.

Have an upvote. This kid is really special. And I say kid, because my daughter is older than he is, so in my eyes he is still just a college kid. Some are jealous and want to crap all over everything positive he does, but- his heart is made of gold!

Nah this dude is a Man, no longer a kid. I know 30, 40 year olds that arent as grown up as him. Blessed for him to be a Tiger

Just when you think society has gone down the toilet, a young man emerges and takes America by storm. We really are blessed to have this man represent LSU and Louisiana. Great picture and your daughter will never forget this magical moment.

He seems to be handling the incessant attention remarkably well.

Dang, that little girl had a hell of a day

I hope the fundraiser helps.
Seems like LF has it figured out. Glad we don't have to worry about him getting into a bar fight or hitting his girlfriend like other college players.
He might end up becoming a bigger ambassador for LSU than Patrick Peterson.

LF is a god. Everything I hear about him is complete class. Also, I like his shirt

Is that the secret playbook n Miles hands?
But on a serious note, I've heard of some stories similar to this one. LF7 is a class act. He's also, from my understanding, a great dad, which is easy to forget that he is a dad sometimes.

I think Fournette becoming a dad is kind of what humbled him and mature him into the man he is now. He seems very focused on his daughter, school, and football career. At that age, I was acting like an arse and with his notoriety I can't imagine how difficult it can be to stay like that.
