For example, Stony Brook in 2012. They had the best record in baseball and 7 players drafted in the first 15 rounds of the draft. That is a stud team right there and everyone should have saw that. But their RPI was low and they were a damn 3 seed in a regional

Thats my point in all of this. I think the RPI should be used as a tool. But all in all the NCAA baseball selection committee is lazy and doesnt really care because quite frankly nobody really cares about college baseball.
