Agree or no?

quote:

17. Dwayne Bowe

Bowe might be the garbage-time king at the position, but he has No. 1 receiver skills. He should benefit from the quarterback upgrade.

He's never had a QB that has given him the chance to be a true #1 imo.

15. Jordy Nelson
16. Mike Wallace
17. Dwayne Bowe
18. Victor Cruz
19. Randall Cobb
20. Marques Colston
21. Greg Jennings

bullshite...

quote:

Prove it

22. Torrey Smith
23. Cecil Shorts
24. Pierre Garcon
25. Jeremy Maclin
26. Antonio Brown
27. Eric Decker
28. Steve Johnson
29. Wes Welker

I dont really see cruz, wallace, or Colston as a true #1 tbh. All very good for sure though. (Just a humble opinion)

I see big recievers (Colston, bowe) as a true number 1's. I dont see speed guys (cruz, wallace) as true numbers 1's. JMO

I'd say the list is pretty accurate. My definition of a "true number 1" is a guy with ideal measurables a that's a complete receiver in every facet. A guy with great hands that can stretch the field vertically or go across the middle. All of the guys listed are great at something but not everything. The exception to this is the vertical threat. I think the guys that can consistently beat you deep can be considered true number ones because the defense has to pay extra attention to them, so I'm not sure Wallace should be on the list. Randy Moss in his prime for an example...between the hash marks might as well have been lava, but he got behind the defense every game

Maybe I was stretching the truth with Cruz. But, I don't see how Wallace isn't a #1 wideout.

Nothing. Guy's a great receiver.

He produced redonko numbers for me in a PPR league a few years ago when he had all those catches.

Bowe is one year removed from 2 1100 yard seasons one where he lead the league in TDs with 15. The guy's problem has always been a lack of a good QB. I think Alex Smith is just enough to make him a #1 again.

Three out of his six seasons he went over 1000 and was five yards away from a fourth. He also missed 3 games last year and finished with 800 yards.

One of my favorite all time tigers.

Great Tiger, but not a number 1 in the big leagues. Even with a QB, not on the same level as Megatron, Fitz, Marshall, etc

Was coming to post this.

If he's not a true #1 then who is?

Is it only Calvin Johnson?

NFL players disagree as they ranked him a top 100 player in the league. D. Bowe is a prototypical #1: big, strong handed, physical receiver with ELITE ball skills and is great after catching the football. Who cares how all these idiots put together these rankings? They are completely meaningless.
