Copeland definitely helped himself with that performance in the all star game. Someone that size that can move and block in space will be drafted somewhere - would be a perfect fit in a Seattle/San Fran type offense.

Hell be a 2nd rounder at best

Landry is widely considered to be a 2-3rd rounder, but i think some team with a good offense already is going to take him late 1st, to push them over the hump. His hands are just to valuable to pass up IMO.

i.e. Chargers, Saints, Chiefs, etc.

I'm going with...

Landry late 1st
OBJ 2nd
Mett 2nd
Hill 3rd
Ego 4th
Freak 5th
Borrow 5th
Loston 6th
Turner 7th

ETA - forgot about Copeland MAYBE 7th.

10 would be incredible.

NFL Draft (LSU)

Mett could go as high as 2nd, I've heard.

I'm afraid the injury, and his lack of mobility are going to push him down some teams boards.

I really don't think his mobility will be that much of an issue (see Manning, Brady, Flacco, Warner, Favre, etc.)
He CAN run (see keeper vs Ole Miss in 2011, and his pocket presence improved greatly under cam in 2013.
I think what scouts see is his missile arm.
We'll see how his knee is.
I say 2nd round, 3rd round at worst.

The WR depth in this draft is very deep. That will push guys down the draft, not up

Teams wont see much value getting a WR in the 1st when you can have a guy just as talented in the 2nd or 3rd

having a mobile qb in the nfl is a nice perk, but a qb has to make his bread and butter as a passer in the league. the salary cap and franchise qb salaries have a lot to do with it. notice kap didnt run nearly as much this year with smith moving to kc.

better yet, foles > vick.

Yes Foles is better than Vick (who has passed his prime, but still athletic enough to beat track guys ten years younger, I might add). Though you're forgetting that Foles is mobile himself. Kap still runs a lot. He just about equaled his carries this year over the same time span, but he threw more because he was counted on more. I think he would have been better this year had Crab not got injured before the season started.

I think Landry gets drafted before OBJ as well.

I'd still take Brees, manning Brady Rodgers etc over
Vick RGIII newton young etc any day of the week

I think Landry can be the better pro, but a lot of writers are starting to talk about OBJ being the 3rd or 4th WR drafted, with some having him going in the early 20s.

aside from Vick, none of these other guys have much experience. I'm sure you'd take guys with 8-10+ years experience over guys with 2-3. Rodgers is another mobile type QB too. He has multiple seasons of 200+-300+ yards rushing and 3-5 TDs. Rodgers also didn't have to start til his fourth year in the league on a team loaded with talented WRs.

Brees first 2 starting years (years 2 and 3) were pretty bad. He still has an interception problem to this day.

Cam is doing it with no firepower but an aging Smith. They need at least 2 WRs and two RBs in this draft.

Not really. He got burned many times and when the rbs hit the 3rd level he took terrible angle

That doesn't mean much. Eric Reed got torched and took terrible angles a lot his last year. Scouts look into what the player has the potential to do, not how he looked in college alone.
