on road
also in the Frisco Classic and will play DBU in Globe Life Field (midweek game) before Frisco Classic
will be in Texas a lot next year

Still don’t understand how the SEC passed up having LSU vs Texas play every single year in baseball. It’s one of the biggest head scratchers

The first time LSU plays Texas in football it better be in Tiger Stadium. Those T-sips still owe is a return trip to our place from the Covid year.
The way the acted when we came to see them will especially have me riled up for that return trip. They turned up the heat in the locker-room, they blew up Burrows jersey with their stupid canon, and the fans sucked. All I've heard from them since is how they almost beat the best College Football team ever.
They like to look down their noses at us while being some of the worst fans in the NCAA.

This is pretty exciting. Frisco Classic is a fun tournament with quality teams in it every year and DBU is ALWAYS a really strong team. That will be a week of tough games with a different opponent each day (for the 4 days we play them).
In 2024 it had Arizona, Alabama, Indiana and Dallas Baptist
In 2023 it had Oklahoma, Ohio State, Cal and Mississippi St

JFC, maybe one of these days Texas will actually play in Baton Rouge.
LSU will have played about 10+ games in Austin before they ever make the trip to BR.

It's a head scratcher to me why anyone thinks any SEC team needs a permanent opponent, much less 2. Why not just come up with a varying schedule that evens out matches over time?

Last time they played here was in 2018 before Josh Smith hurt his back if I remember correctly

I think 3 teams will rotate off every year and a different 3 will rotate on. So you should play every team at least once every 3 years.

As a LSU baseball season ticket holder who lives in Dallas-Fort Worth I've been waiting for LSU to play Globe Life park. I also kind of wish they were playing the tournament there in Arlington instead of the one in Frisco because it is indoors...but oh well.
