We’ll have plenty of time this offseason. With that said, i wont be writing off guys like kling, neal, brown, and frey to supplement larson and milam

Maybe I’m wrong on Pearson going, but we are going to be a much different team with or without him.

I have no doubts that we can pull people out of the portal to replace Bingham and travinski’s production. We still need better from next years sophomore and junior position players to be any good. You can’t expect to pull an entire winning roster out of the portal every year.

He had huge shoes to fill. He hasn’t done it at the plate. I’m afraid he just doesn’t have it.

We have to go heavy in the portal and snag arms and bats or we are looking at another disappointing year.

I read your analysis - are you shocked how this season is unfolding?

Yes, I pointed out in the preseason that I was worried about this team manufacturing runs with lack of speed and high strikeout rate but I didn't think every phase of the game would escape this team at weekends at a time. I thought they would be 7-8 at this point and yes it's much worse.

I thought Ethan Frey would be the next great batter. Not sure if he is hurt or what but he can hit and run well. Maybe there is no where for him on defense?

He messed up his shoulder on a slide a few weeks back. Might be still bothering him.

Correct, Ethan can't throw right now and there's no where to put him other than DH
