This is not a negative post, I just think we are on a 2 year process.

For whatever reason this team doesn’t seem fully bought it, negativity due to the extreme turnover of coaches and players, COVID stuff, bad attitudes, whatever it it.

This year will be about figuring out who the bad apples are and getting them out, I think we see virtually all draftable players leave.

Next year will be about reinstalling the team attitude and commitment, batter them with team team team and figure out who has the heart, usually the year you have to do that is not a successful W/L year. Then the next year is when you see results.

TLDR: this is going to take time, trust the process and let’s Geaux tigers

If next year is anyway similar to this year then Coach O and the staff need to be fired. There is no way a LSU football team should have 2 losing seasons in a row.

If they can retain most of the players it shouldn’t be

This roster has only one NFL eligible and ready player and that's Marshall. He should leave the dumpster fire ASAP. Next year will be Coach O's either time to shine or burn it all down cause he will have a lot returning and adding elite HS talent.

Ordinarily, I'd agree but even with losing what/who we lost from last season, I expected a drop off but I didn't expect a historically bad team. We went from hoisting the trophy to looking like we can't get out of our own way. You don't look like that against Moo State, freaking Missouri, get your butts kicked by Auburn..... not a ranked team yet. The 'fun' is just starting.

O needs to wake up and get with it and stop with the excuses. He says the same crap after every loss and it doesn't mean anything at this point because the next game looks just like the last game. Nothing ever gets fixed.

When we play a team with a real defense, we'll show problems on offense too, more than likely on the OL.

The defense...... we all know about that.

O needs to wake up. In two weeks, it's gonna get bad. What's going to be the excuse then?

"Put this on me. Gotta fix things. "

To say it's frustrating to see is putting it mildly.

The biggest loss in 2021 will be Marshall. Otherwise most of our skill positions should return and we will be more experienced on the OL/DL. Some of our younger players in the trenches may actually be better than our upper classmen.

If the team can show some improvement towards the end of the season and keep the recruiting class intact with some additions, 2021 should be a very good year.

I don’t think there are bad apples but he needs to figure out those that want to return in 2021, who are your leaders. This isn’t the DL group from 2015 that Brick Haley brought in; M.Bain, Unicorn, the brother of that OT from Texas, and Orgeron had to clean house with those guys.

I’d say, this year needs to be about getting your leaders identified and starting to build on some momentum into closing a strong recruiting class. Then he has to figure out is Pelini able to bring any life into his side of the ball or does he replace him and reset this travesty of a defense.

Gilbert is a TRUE Freshman. Aint going anywhere. Gaye has shown nothing draftable. Ingram is a maybe. Stevens is too slow for NFL.

Weird process. Make bad hires. Have to correct it. Multiple bad years. Hope to win the lottery in the transfer pipeline and up and coming offensive coaching mind. Profit.

It can’t be.

Only way would be a mass exodus and every single player outside of Ed Ingram and Terrace Marshall are plummeting down draft boards.

Realistically

Terrace leaves early

Ali Gaye, Ed Ingram Jabril Cox are the only other 3 I see with a decision to make.

All 3 are crucial to a run next year.

Also the Oline has to improve. They’re garbage
