The Giants would immediately kill it, marketing wise with him.

From a parent's perspective, one of the best things about that photo is the smile on his mother's face.

The Advocate also reported when Daniels arrived for breakfast Saturday morning, he met Bonnie Cannon, the daughter of LSU’s first Heisman winner, Billy Cannon.

“I’ve been coming every year for a long time,” Cannon said. “I know you’re going to win this. I just wanted to introduce myself and say you have a whole group of people back home pulling for you.”

For a long time, Cannon was part of the only LSU family that truly understood what it meant to win the Heisman Trophy. She returned to work at the event every year until she stopped in 2009.

She returned for the first time in a decade when Joe Burrow won, then booked her flight back more than a month ago to see Daniels.

“You are the only person that would get me to return to this godforsaken city” Cannon told him. Daniels laughed.

i was standing about where that photo angle was taken from....a young New York couple was standing near us and the girl asked, whats all of this about.....and someone said that is the Heisman winner. she turns around and looks and her dude and says, thats cool, we are looking at some high school winner!!!! and he responded with, no, the HEISMAN.

lots of people in that mob had no idea who they were surrounding. kind of funny.

Seems fitting Sherman Wilson is right next to him, also got Cody Worsham to his left almost out of the frame.

That is so cool! You are truly blessed.

I don't travel like that. But my grandson has been blessed too. His young football team of 10-year-olds went undefeated in 2019, and got to attend LSU's football practice facility, he had a picture taken with Joe Burrow with Joe's arm wrapped around him.

Then he got to attend the SEC championship game in a suite with his dad because a guy I played poker with and was close friends with had two tickets in a suite from a corporation where he worked and sold them to me cheap.

My grandson was also tutored in baseball by an LSU baseball player when that player was in high school, my grandson not only attended the College World Series but also was invited to the suite of LSU's players and has a picture of Olivia Dunne with her arm draped around him. It's not really about have much money you have sometimes, but who you know.

Everything in NY is like that. They build up, not out. The holiday inn in Manhattan has 3 rooms per floor it’s so narrow.
