I wonder if Nike would let a school keep a pro combat uni permanently. Not saying I'd want this to be our permanent uniform, but it'd make a cool alternate to wear every now and then

i like whit and yellow, purple yellow. no need to change. great programs keep it simple and i still think the whites are the best unis in the country. they really pop in hd.

you couldnt tell the numbers and shoulder stripes were different in the bowl game? I really dont know how that is possible.

I usually will notice shoulder stripes, but I'm not going to notice the numbers unless they change colors or something.
Maybe if they went to size 14 font or something.

if we kept a pro combat uni permanently, I'd rather it be the 2011 Pro Combats. The 2009 unis looked like shite. Thought I was watching Tulsa play in DV against Arky. I like the "new" unis if these are the ones we'll be wearing all year. Updated the traditional look but not drastically changing it. I'm a fan. Would've liked to see what the purple jersey looks like with the new shoulder stripes and numbers.

that's what i was getting at. The 2011 pro unis would make a nice alternate jersey to wear a few times a year. Didn't care for the 09 ones

I hated the '09 unis. Normally I'm a traditionalist and I don't like changing up the unis too much, but I'm a fan of this new edition. and its a change from the odd uni we had during the chick-fil-a bowl. this one looks less cramped and crowded and looks like it has room for bowl patches...

The striping on the white just doesnt give a clean look. I dont think the stripes would look terrible on a purple jersey. I hate the new number font though.

what do you mean by clean? I like the fact that they are kinda finishing it closer to the underarm where the stripes used to end. Never completely liked how they just ended the stripe
