Not sure how you left McCune and Eades off that list

I wonder who'll be our main closer this year? Maybe Nola?

Good question. I'm thinking they try a few different guys in the OOC games before settling on somebody for conference play.

We cant hit the dang ball and we keep the terrible hitting coach / third base coach . Hopefully maineri started to actually work and not let his assisstants do everything

Runs will be hard to come by against SEC pitching. This team will probably have about the same record as last year. Maybe a few more in the win column with the starting rotation having a year under their belts.

Yeah we need quite a few guys to step up their hitting performance from last year if we want to be elite. I think it may be tough but who knows.

if we dont make the tourney this year or if we dont make a super regional then maineri should be fired IMO

I doubt it happens though. What really sucked about being snubbed last year is we were probably playing Top 10 ball at the end of the season. Had we gotten in we easily could've won a regional and even a super.

we didnt even make the SEC tourney. That is pathetic and than Maineri stupidly admits that the past year or so he didnt recruit anyone and he just let all of his assistance do the recruiting while his lazy arse does nothing. After hearing that I have no respect for him and want him gone.

McCune definitely needs to be on that list.

Biggest thing we need to do is get some run support for McCune and Gausmann. Our offense (or lack thereof) cost Gausmann a lot of wins last year.

And 10 teams make it to the SEC tourney this year, so I'm pretty confident will be going to Hoover this year.

I think we definitely make it this year (even if it was still an 8 team tourney i think we would make it).

Blowing the 9th inning lead on Friday against MSU kept up out of the tournament. Had we not slipped up in that inning the postseason may have been quite satisfying. They were knocking the cover off of the ball and pitching great too.

With the venue, facilities, fan base, and history we have we should be a top 3 team in the SEC easily every year, no excuses
