I really like his approach to working with the pitchers. Check out what he says about how players receive information and digest it. It's really refreshing to hear him expound on meeting the player sort of on their terms.

Pitching Coach Nate Yeskie - Interview

I barely pitched once HS came around (3B and CF), so I'm always looking for good information on the position at higher levels. Anyone with input on the subject matter?

Very knowledgeable, analytical, and tireless. Well spoken and calm, but you can tell he has a fire in his belly.

He knows his stuff.

We're very fortunate to have him on this staff. He and Jay are clones from a mental standpoint. They can both drag players into the weeds on baseball IQ or really just dumb it right down and dial them in to what they need to succeed today.

I think he will actually stick around LSU for awhile.

Man I hope that you're right about that. He is impressive and there may be nobody better to coach such a lefty heavy staff like Jay has assembled.

Are we gonna acknowledge that Leah Vann is back at the advocate?

Perhaps very soon.

JJ seems to be developing a bit of a tree.

After looking at Vann’s Twitter account, I’d say it’s not true.
Vann appears to be touting herself now as a free-lance reporter mainly covering the Houston Astros. She doesn’t mention Baton Rouge or LSU. She’s not mentioned on The Advocate’s website.

I am just ready for some stability in the Pitching Coach remaining with the team after one year.

She asked a question during the press conference; said she was with The Advocate.
