You got part right...part wrong.
If a player "taunts" the other team in the process of scoring a TD, the score will be taken off the board. Because it's a "live play" penalty, the penalty yards (15) are then stepped off from the point of the penalty.
A player starts strutting into the endzone at the 10 yard line, it's a 15 yd penalty from that point and no score.
The unsportsmanlike penalty rule just went from bad to stupid.
