How about a list of 4 or 5 names that way when the announcement is made your confirmation will seem more authentic and there is no fear of "blowing up" any deals.
Without this it is going to sound like just a bunch of tiger field fertilizer.

Orgeron said at the Senior Bowl that they would not make a move on ST coach until the NCAA made the decision on the 10th coach.

So we are waiting, not for the official announcement from LSU but for confirmation from 2 ranters here, one who admittedly sounds legit...the other not so much? Thinking I will put my trust into the LSU announcement, that way no one will get pissed & pull out of the search. Good Lord. Confirmation after an official announcement?

I have no idea who the new coaches will be but I can tell you there won't be three unless another coach is let go. We have 7 coaches now and the most on field coaches allowed is 9. There is a proposal to expand it to 10 but IF it is approved it won't be voted on until the NCAA meetings in April. So these people listing a WR coach, RB coach and a separate Special Teams coach are going to be disappointed.

Is "Meatball" permanent?
Was there ever a press release on this?
How can they recruit DL next year not knowing who their position coach will be? It is well known Pete is done after the upcoming season. Are they just waiting to see if Bo Davis will be cleared sooner rather than later?
