So you expect Oregon to struggle vs Stanford?

We'll be tested before then. However, I'd expect it to be close.

ASU? Really?

USC has looked extremely mediocre...still ranked too high considering how they have played. Ducks will be favored in every game til the bcsncg

Topwater - I said a challenge before Stanford. Stanford is on the backend of our schedule. We have plenty of time to test our mettle.

My point was about being tested by a physical team since you commented that was the reason lsu struggled with auburn.

I don't consider USC or ASU to be physical. Stanford and OSU seem to be though.

They are physical when compared to UNT, UW or Idaho.

LSU shouldn't be #2. Beat Florida on the road and we deserve it.

I don't see that happening. Our LT and RT are gonna get Mett killed. Our pass blocking and WRs have been MIA since the Arkansas game last season.

ASU will be VERY VERY physical. The coaches have those guys hitting other teams hard...and their wins over Illinois and Utah were very fun to watch.

ASU has always been physical. They were stupid under Erickson though. I like Sutton, the linebackers, etc.

ETA: they are playing well at home

Yeah, while I didn't really think much of their wins over hapless Illinois and a Utah without their starting QB and RB...their DEF Coordinator (Graham is running the def) has them playing out of their minds right now. Not much talent there beyond sutton or mcghee but I have been very impressed with them. They alos aren't playing stupid football anymore...so no more free rides with personal fouls.

LSU will make UF look similar to Au offensively. I still don't see how people don't see this but w/e.

We'll be back up there once we beat some more SEC opponents. Definitely wont happen against Towson. AP doesn't want to have LSU ANNNDDDD Alabama in the 1&2 spots. South Carolina will definitely get us in the top spots again. Regardless if we win out it doesn't matter. BCS isn't out for another 3 games anyways.

Vegas does not take into account emotions of a college game. It is unlike anything in any sport. It can go up and down with one simple mistake or good play. I knew this would be a close game, I never buy into spreads when it comes to conference games, especially sec WEST rivalries. Same goes for east rivalries. @ Auburn @ night when they were 1-2 looking for an identity. We had them on ropes and gave them life with the turnovers. That is as simple as it gets. People forget Auburn still has athletes all over the field just like us. Let them move us down, it will only throw gas on the fire of the LSU tigers. Like Big Sam said. We needed this.
