Never implied any of that either, I just said it sucks that the team should be 11-1. LSU is good for 10 wins a season, with the 12 games they play LSU has more talent than 10 of them and equal talent to two.

It's extremely possible Lsu finishes in top 5. We are pathetic if that is embarrassing and we can't be proud of that if they do

Again, put words on keyboard that I did not type. LSU should be 11-1 without horrible coaching decisions. There is no reason LSU should not win 10 games a year and finish in top 5-10 or higher after the bowl season. Our third stringers are better than some teams first as they are mostly 4* or 3* players.

10-2 should and could have easily been 12-0, dumbass! Why can't you people get this? Even the Arkansas faithful get it, they can't believe how a team so talented ever loses or doesn't blow teams out, coaching dammit it's coaching. They are thankful Les Miles is staying around Baton Rouge, they feel Arkansas has a chance as long as Miles is coaching this team, it's not rocket science hombre.

I wish you and everyone like you in the fanbase would just take that final step and end it. Every elite teams has high expectations. Every elite team wants to win every fricking game. Every elite team could be undefeated if they played up to their potential every game. It's irrational to say that a coach that has lead us to more success than we've EVER maintained is the weakness and that people are glad he's sticking around because he's a bad coach. That's bullshite.

You mean to tell me that every other team who hasn't won the division the past few years wants him to stay? You're telling me the teams that he won those 10 games against yearly are glad he isn't leaving? Yeah, all those other SEC teams love losing to Les Miles every year, and I totally agree that they want him to stick around so they can continue to add that loss to the record every year. If you think every team wouldn't be elated at us being stupid enough to get rid of Les Miles, you're a fricking idiot and deserve every bit of misery you get from the program declining as a result.

Think that won't happen? Look at Arkansas. They were supposed to be a contender for the title this year. They thought it was their year. Petrino was supposed to be the great coach to lead them to the top, but what happened? He was caught pounding strange. Everyone always talks about intangibles for players. Les Miles has EVERY intangible I'd like to see in a coach. He doesn't throw his players under the bus, he stands up to them, he doesn't look like a moron yelling on the sideline, and he's a goofy, good natured family man. We should just be glad that our "moron" of a coach leads us to 10 win seasons every year and keeps us in contention when all those other coaches who are so much better jump from elite program to elite program failing to do the same.

Exactly. Going 10-2 and everyone acting like they just won the moral BCS title is ridiculous. LSU should be able to win 10 games every season without trying. Coaching holds this team back and costs them a game or two every year and it has been proven over and over and over again. And then have to have this team lose, this one win, blah blah to have a chance at bcs bowl is not how things should be.

Did you see what you just typed? We hold them back and we still get to 10 wins.

Wow.

I always prefer "I forgot more about football than you will ever know"

LSU has retarded fans as does every fan base (see SEC Rant) and this message board is not the majority we both know that.

Do you understand how recruiting has played out the past few years? You do know that the SEC has several teams in the Top 10 of recruiting every year, right? LSU shouldn't win 10 every year without trying and no team will. Bama is one good drive away from being 10-2 and lost to a team we beat. There is no such thing as "without trying" in the SEC, and if you think otherwise, you know nothing about the conference. Just because we recruit well doesn't mean that those other Top 10 and Top 20 SEC recruiting classes aren't capable of playing just as well. Stop being so delusional.

I expect miles to put our players in the best position to win. If we lose and our best effort is put forth, fine.

But too many of our losses are traced directly back to Miles' ineptness

Interesting that you reference that score. That was score that Florida came into Tiger Stadium and beat LSU by in front of 60,000 fans in 1993 in the depths of the Curley Hallman era. I can't believe that anybody who was an LSU fan at that time could even conceive of being disappointed in a 10 or 11 win season.

I can tell you we were lucky to win 10 the way we played this year. Very fortunate considering how sloppy we played. Miles does what he does every year. He wins with superior talent. I give him credit for being a good recruiter. That's the name of the game in college football.

LSU is a long way away from the Hallman days.... LSU has had really 10+ straight years of success pretty much reaching its greatest heights under Miles

People seem to forget this. It's always "ESPN and the media hates us and never puts us up as a perennial powerhouse like they do Alabama, Notre Dame, etc." That's because we weren't. Now, LSU is considered a legitimate contender yearly, and that's not Nick Saban's legacy anymore. They didn't respect Nick Saban's LSU team, but they for damn sure respect Les Miles' LSU team.

What are our 10-12 wins traced back too?
