Then explain how you know the actual effort jay Johnson put into making adjustments going into the Florida series. What do you know that suggests Jay was complacent?

The only ego playing worth a shite is Tanks right now. He's still finding his swing, but his defense at 3rd has been a vast improvement.

Almost all true except Jones has improved tremedously at plate discipline as well, but I agree everything else is either the same or worse this year.

I just keep thinking back to how sorry Tennessee looked last season half way through league play. Then that club turned it on and made it to Omaha. I will never count out any JJ team either. His development process works.

All of this. Everyone need to trust JJ. He’s more than earned the benefit of the doubt.

It looks like they are lacking on field leadership

If he was anything other than very disappointed, I’d be really worried!

This. Anyone giving up on the team this early would be foolish. Just need to fight through the lumps right now and get hot at the right time. The talent is there to go on a run.

No leave them in for the weekly 10 run rule loss then. Going for the SEC record in 10 run rule losses this season

I really hope we backed up all the Brinks and Loomis trucks for Wes Johnson

It’s humorous to see posts like this after all of last season where Sundays were considered a loss and the bullpen couldn’t hold a lead until Omaha.
By all accounts of people who know more than me, he was a great coach, I’m just saying last years staff wasn’t exactly the 98 braves

Dude is going to fix this or this will be a swift flip of the roster this off season. It’s pretty evident Jay expects the best and will do everything he can do rite the ship. That’s all you can ask

Until Jay proves me wrong I agree.

This actually should have been expected.(Though the p&g glasses didn’t allow me to expect it) We not only lost so much offensive production, but also a shite ton of experience. Veteran guys that played together for years.

IMO This team will get better as the season goes along. Just have to wait and see if the better is good enough. This year maybe a learning year
