That game would have been a lot closer under the past regime.

Everything that they are complaining about can be fixed. No one should make any conclusions about the season from last nights game. Good or bad.

No doubt....Was so sick of LM mucking it up versus high school teams. No complaints regarding last night, a lot to be impressed with, and things to work on.

First game in the bag, significantly beat the spread, no injuries..........

Moving on -

A clearly inferior team stuffed the red zone offense - more than once.

Les would have done better. If this had been coached by Les, the TR would be going nuts, talking about how bad the offense was.

The "positgers" are the among the biggest hypocrites in sports fandom.

Agree on the last part. And posi tigers and nega tigers are the worst nicknames. Either you are a fan or you aren't. And fans can critique, and still be glad their team won.

Was wondering how long it would take for one of the 'nega puss' peeps to show up.

LM would have done better? You are as DELUSIONAL as Nancy Pelosi!!! Double dose your meds and sleep it off!

Because of the tight confines involved, goal line and 2-pt pass plays are very specialized and specific. See Clemson's game-winner vs. Bama.

Why would Canada want to show LSU's hand against a team that couldn't move the ball on them? Be conservative, run the ball, and if you have to settle for a FG, so what? LSU could've won that game 3-0 if they wanted.

You are giving Canada way too much credit.

actually, their defense was pretty darn good, esp their run defense. their performance should impress on Canada that we need to alter our approach a bit in the red zone.

but there is nothing worse to the psych of an offense that a drive making it to the deep red zone and then committing a turnover. there is a lot to be said for ramming it home as opposed to airing it out down there.

Yeah, the dude is clearly in over his head.

48:00 TOP for LSU. This guy has no clue what he's doing.

Let me get this straight. You predicted that BYU would beat LSU 27 - 24 and now you're complaining about a "clearly inferior" BYU team stuffing LSU in the zone?

The reason why BYU didn't have 11 guys in the box was directly because of Matt Canada. BYU wanted to keep everything in front of them. They know he's capable of anything.

Les runs right into the teeth of 11 man fronts and says "frick you. Stop it." Well other teams know this was a Miles staple.

If BYU a had 10-11 men in the box, just like Wisc did last year, this game would have been 7-0 going to the 4th quarter.
