Is Starkey still an Assistant at A&M?
Caldwell/Fargas should've kept him on the Staff.
Bad Karma. What goes around comes around.............

As disheartening as that loss was, things are going to be ok. Unfortunately, that loss sorta equals out the win at Arkansas, where LSU trailed the entire game until the final 9 seconds.
LSU was 11-2 with a good RPI in non-conference. Unlike the men, the SEC is a highly rated conference. They play 16 games....I figure the magic number for LSU to get to the NCAA's is 8-8..which would put the overall at 19-10 entering SEC tournament. Right now, they are 3-4, but the arse-end of the schedule is behind them. They have played S. Carolina, Miss. St, and Kentucky and don't have to play any of them again.
There are 4 home games left: Arkansas, Alabama, Texas A&M, and Vanderbilt.
There are 5 road games left: Tennessee, Auburn, Vandy, Ole Miss, and Georgia
The home games with Arkansas (2-4), Alabama (3-4, but they suck) and Vandy (0-7) should be definite wins, with the rematch with A&M a tossup.
The road games at Vandy, Ole Miss, and Georgia are games where LSU is the better team and has a great chance to win. At Tennessee and at Auburn will be tough.
As long as they continue to play hard and improve, which I think they will, this team will end up I think with 9 wins in the league and a 20 win season.
