Okay.

Clearly the park should be demolished and rebuilt facing the other way.

The study concerning the new ball showed it flew significantly further than the old ball due to less drag. We're not trying to go back to the Gorilla Ball days.

let's hope it does...

last CWS was boring and it unfairly favored pitching

I would just like to point out that 4 days before the Bama game a thread about baseball seams is the second longest thread on the Rant.

In my view, anything that favors ONE TYPE OF TEAM OVER ANOTHER is unfair.

we changed the bats that took offense away, now the way the ball park is, also favors pitching.
and makes for boring baseball.

I liked the fact that any team that was down 3 runs, could have HOPE and still come back, last year, it was clear that a team with a couple of runs lead in the ninth, was heavily favored to win.

I'm sorry you can't enjoy 3-1 baseball games. I really, truly am.

did not say it was..
last year's conditions, teams and team match-ups made it more obvious.

I can appreciate good pitching, but it is boring baseball.
Can you say that last year's series was an exciting one ?

It amazes me. LSU was one hit and one non error away from being 2-0. But because LSU goes 0-2, the CWS becomes boring and unfair.

I see what he's saying, to an extent. I love a good low-scoring game, but I like to see it occur due to great pitching and defense. Not dead bats and a cavernous park.

everyone to their own liking, I have no problem with that, and I enjoy some of those as well..
I just do not enjoy when all games are like that.

glad that you enjoyed it
..we do not all have to like the same things

You mean one where every pitch, every base runner, every defensive play matters? Nah. That sucks!

I concur with this also. Fly balls ro the warning track are boring.

exactly,
last year I saw teams playing extremely shallow
..no fear of anything being hit over their head.
-- due to the ballpark conditions, not pitching

I do not recognize this version of what I have been saying.
It was not only the LSU game that was boring.
