I totally get that, but he was a consensus top 5 overall high school player. Look back at the years and see some of the names that were top 5 coming out of high school.

He was not top 5 on any ranking. We’re splitting hairs , but he was ranked anywhere from 12-22 by the recruiting services.

Uhhhh, is anyone actively rooting against him and hoping he fails? We are simply saying we think the OP’s opinion is ridiculous. Obviously everyone here myself included will be rooting for Naz to succeed in every way possible. You can disagree with someone’s decision, and still hope he succeeds. Did he make a bad decision? Absolutely, he wasn’t drafted. Still hope he succeeds.

Once he can drive one-on-one against a defender without tripping over himself he will have a chance to have a cup of coffee in the NBA.

Youth no excuse? Tell me one player that was an impact player in his first year? You may be able to name a couple, but most young kids struggling greatly in their first year because they are still teenagers playing a man's game. Koby Bryant, Paul George, Dirk N., Steve Nash and James Harden were less than spectacular their rookie seasons. Give the guy a chance to develop!

His biggest issue is physicality on offense and defense. But, he's young and he may develop. I hope he does. I like Naz.

Dude straight ate himself out of the draft. Went to the combine with 14% body fat. No one drafted him because he didn't care enough about an NBA career to stay on shape even until the combine.
