Both are awarded to the best player that year, just by different organizations. I'd be happy with Simmons winning either one

I don't even feel like I'm being a sunshine pumper when I say that I think this is likely. Fournette is killing it this year and he's basically unopposed thus far in the Heisman race with no sign of slowing down and a history of showing out in big games, Simmons is a one and done once in a decade talent and will get a huge amount of attention/publicity, and Lange IMO is easily the best pitcher I've seen at LSU as a freshman. Exciting year for those three coming up

Lange will have to blow everyone out of the water if Fournette and Simmons wins. The media will know the storyline and he will be picked apart.
