National Championship Head Coaches Are Better Than Their Predecessors

A few have mentioned that we are low on talent, etc. so give O some time. Be patient, they say, he deserves a chance.
I believe that every eventual national championship coach is better than the coach he followed. Evidence:
2016 Clemson, Dabo Swinney: 2009 9-5; 2008 Bowden/Swinney 7-6
2015 Alabama, Nick Saban 2007 7-6; 2006 Mike Shula 6-7
2014 Ohio State, Urban Mayer 2012 12-0; 2011 Luke Fickell 6-7
2013 Florida State, Jimbo Fisher 2010 10-4; 2009 Bobby Bowden 7-6
2012, 2011 Alabama
2010 Auburn Gene Chizik 2009 8-5; 2008 Tommy Tuberville 5-7
2009 Alabama
2008 Florida Urban Meyer 2005 9-3; 2007 Ron Zook 7-5
2007 LSU Les Miles 2005 11-2; 2004 Nick Saban 9-3
2006 Florida
2005 Texas Mack Brown 1998 9-3; 1997 John Mackovic 4-7
2004 USC Pete Carroll 2001 6-6; 2000 Paul Hackett 5-7
2003 LSU Nick Saban 2000 8-4; 1999 Gerry Dinardo 3-8
2002 Ohio State Jim Tressel 7-5; 2000 John Cooper 8-4 THERE'S THE ONE EXCEPTION
2001 Miami Larry Coker 1st season 12-0; 2000 Butch Davis 11-1
2000 Oklahoma Bob Stoops 1999 7-5; 1998 John Blake 5-6
There you have it. Every national championship winning coach except one since 2000 has had a better record in his first full year versus the guy that was there before. As if we needed more proof that Orgeron is not the guy. If he loses more than the 4 games the Tigers lost last year in the year started by Les Miles, then we can safely conclude that he's not gonna be the guy.

We need nothing further to know this already.

Now that's the statistical analysis I come to this board for.

Oh, I agree completely.
I just saw someone yesterday say, hang on for a year or two and he'll get it going once he gets his guys in.
No.
Good coaches can take the dudes the last guy couldn't get to produce and make them better. So far, Orgeron is doing the opposite.

Not sure that applies here. Your stats show that the successor coach is the national champion. In our case, the predecessor is the national champion.

Most of these schools are crooked (EXCEPT AUBURN)

He listed the NC coach first. They are still the successors if you look at the years for the records. The successor needs to have a better first year than the predecessor's last year.

That’s the point. The goal at LSU is the win the national championship. There are a couple of mileposts you need to meet historically to show you’re capable. One of these is to lose fewer games your first year. I don’t think O will meet that milestone.

Indeed. Even Miles’ record at LSU was better than the previous year.
