National Championship general admission ticket questions

Drove to Omaha from BR. Group of 5. Planning on doing the $15 general admission. How early do we need to get in line? Chances we get inside?
I read 5500 people get in. How much more packed is it for championship series than first parts of CWS? Any advice is appreciated.

I was out there at 830 to try and get reserved seats. They sold out long before me. I drove around the GA gates and there were already people forming a line. This was at like 1020. Gates open at 4. To be safe, I'd get there no later than 2.
