Insane that a coach with players who were accessories to murder will continue to play on.
And a coach that made payments to players, was targeted by the media and canned.
So What, because Alabama didn't violate NCAA rules they are better off??
As far as I remember there were never disciplinary issues among Wade's players. Especially none that amounted to murder.
We're talking about providing money to players and families who are struggling financially vs. murder.

We were dead wrong to fire Wade. We thought we were saving football, but at this point, the NCAA is toothless.

Is what it is at this point, but it was a mistake.

He kicked off kiir and someone else after his first year. I forgot what they did but I think it pretty stupid

Oates is a POS. Both of those players would've been off of my team. You don't escalate a situation by bringing someone a gun. A good teammate and someone with an ounce of human decency would've told them to leave where they are at. You can't prove motive, but that shows horrible decision making and I wouldn't want my players around someone like that. I don't care if it's the next Jordan, he'd be gone.

I think this season is really showing how shitty human beings these college basketball coaches really are. Wife beaters, murder cover ups, etc.

But hey, screw Will Wade because he paid players.

Wade was amazing with discipline too. Suspended tf outta Waters a game or two and he kicked those 3 doofuses of the team, Galen Alexander, Mayan Kiir, and Brandon Rachal

Kiir and Galen Alexander were riding around campus shooting at dorm windows and cars with a BB gun like retards. They’d both been suspended already for skipping classes so Wade kicked em right off the team. Brandon Rachal got booted too, but that had more to do with him hanging out with some real arse north BR gangsters all the time than any single incident. That ended up sucking cause Rachal turned into a damn good player at Tulsa and stayed out of trouble. Kid was just young and dumb running with a bad crowd but Wade might have saved him by giving him the boot.

It will suck, but if he were to somehow end up at Bama, I may have an aneurysm.

Right. The “allegations” surround his time at VCU.

In basketball terms, wouldn't Brandon Miller be credited with an assist? Guy goes off for 41 against USC-E like he has no conscience.

Nate Oats is a POS, but are you actually trying to compare those two situations?

I'm making a comparison because of the media clout that was sprung on both them in the middle of successful seasons.
I'm pointing out that even in a much worse situation morally (murder vs. illegal payments) Alabama has stuck with their coach and their players. Whereas Woody would not. We see the results.
To the surprise of most of you on this board, some of us do actually care about LSU basketball and no matter the success that Jay Johnson, Brian Kelly has will erase Woodward's mistake here.

Oates is getting crushed by the media for playing Miller. The only people not are the Alabama cult media. What are you talking about?

Miller didn’t kill anyone you tool. You can hate him all you want but the player involved is not on the team. Miller hasn’t been charged with anything

Miller may or may not have done something illegal but we have seen players suspended for doing a lot less than what he did on that night.

Like Nabers? Have you seen anything on him? He DID commit a crime.
Who is suspending him and why? I completely disagree with broad punishment of ANYONE when it is clear they were not involved. This is still a freaking a democracy where you’re innocent until proven guilty.
