Correct! He came to our school Football Banquet in 1968 10 years after they won the NC. He also sold us our Senior Class rings. The school Doyle High School Tigers.

I've got a signed football w/ Rabb, Hodson, Mauck and Flynn......Wish Hodson could have gotten an NC like the rest.

Does he own Rabb's in Ruston? I've smashed so many times at that place it's not even a joke anymore!

Tom Hodson had a shot when they were 10-1-1. They lost to Alabama and tied Ohio State. No way they tied Ohio State and was bad clock management and play calling. Hodson was injured when they lost to Alabama.

I'm sorry, but I'm too dumb to understand this sentence. Would someone help me out?

Jesus, people! How could you not know that Warren Rabb was the QB of the 1958 NC team? Isn't this an LSU football board? Don't you suppose there are Aggies peeking in and chuckling that the average blow-hard Tiger fan doesn't even know the name of the school's only QB to win it all in the 20th Century.

I get the theme of your point - that Rabb was the best QB on the team - but in fairness there were three guys who were all essentially co-starters at that position for the 58 Tigers.

Rabb was white team. Matherne was Go team.
