I'm not a season ticket holder, so what do I need to do to get my hands on a pair? And how much do you think it'll set me back?

Why don't you ask him to get the tickets?

Sites like StubHub, Ticketcity.com etc

You'll probably pay quite a bit over face value, but it's a more secure route than waiting to buy on game day or waiting on "someone I know has some extras, let me check and get back to you", dealing with craigslist, etc.

About a 50/50 split I guess.

Can somebody throw a number out there even if it is a guess. We talking $500/seat upper? And I would most likely go through stubhub, etc.

Cowboys Classic

After request and alotment period for season ticket holders, any extra will be offered to the general public. May 31 is the day they will go on sale if available.

I would wait till then before using stubhub etc.

There will be no extra for the general public, IMO.

I doubt LSU will be able to fill all requests that they have.

Best bet is to try and get a season ticket holder to request tickets for you or look at stub hub

If you're willing to pay that amount, I would recommend that you get a group of 18 people together and get a suite. It's $8000 for a suite which works out to $444 each. Includes $1500 in food/drink and some parking passes.

Oregon probably will not sell their allotment. Go to the Oregon web site and get the particulars. Should be able to get at face value.

at the prices they are charging it will be a soft sell out at best. OU is not going to travel well for this.

Agreed.......Verge Ausberry was on TigerRag radio this evening and he said after only 5 days of being offerend, over 20,000 tickets have been requested. The deadline to put in for tickets isn't until May 31, so I would anticipate us easily going over the allotment.

There may be a possibility though that Oregon returns tickets, from what I've heard their attendance at the National Championship was sub-par at best.

We were dealing with them on a suite, was told they were sellng fast and we needed to commit which we did, was told it was a done deal, gave them a credit card, got a call three weeks later saying they had oversold and we did not get a suite. Now they are offering us a package of tickets for the same price, good seats, but I am still kind of pissed off.

$500 a seat for upper? hahaha, no fricking way... it's a regular season game, not a BCS game.

Check the Oregon boards. It'll be easier to get 'em there than at LSU or on our boards.
