Another example of little adjustments made by O & slinger that make a ton of difference. By goin off tackle it allows more space for our backs. Guice will have more success also. He is better suited on the edge & perimeter. Widens the D without throwing. Funny what subtle changes can do. No point in jamming the middle with 20 players.

...and throwing deep downfield a few times tends to keep the safeties back because they have to respect the passing game, something opposing defenses haven't had to to against LSU in a long time. Run game is a lot more effective when you arent running against 8 or 9 in the box so often

We've always taken deep shots down field. It's been the intermediate and short game that has given this offense issues

Well sure. But some ppl aren't seeing a lot of the changes other than improved qb play and defense. It's little things like goin more 12 personell that's opening things up and keeping the d honest that I like. Our best formation is 1 back 2 TE 2 WR. They are very comfortable with it and removing the fb and adding the TE gives us more options in passing game. I love it. And I love what they have done since they can't overhaul the playbook.

Going deep was never an issue under cam. It was the qb not being able to complete a 5 yard pass.

Agree with this but the toss power/gap slant is way off
It was run constantly under prev staff C and B gap, strong and weak
