My Statement to App. State fans

I posted this in the girlfriend thread, but I wanted all Appies to see this:
This was spurred from reading the following quote from an App. St. Fan. Plus, I just think they're being extremely cocky on here.
You Appy fans are cocky mfers. OSU was more grateful and respected our team better than Appy. Let's recap:
1. Academics-----------------FAIL
2. Great City----------------FAIL
3. Major university----------FAIL
4. In-bred Mountain hicks-----PASS
5. Major football tradition--FAIL
5a- Winning the runt championship by beating power houses like Wofford, oh wait, I mean Delaware is awesome. I mean seriously, I'm sure at least 30 people outside of Boone care/respect Appy. Just remember, you're 0-2 vs. SEC teams. Soon to be 0-3. The moral victories you listed above sounds like another runt---Ole Miss. But, I'm sure they'd have their way with App too.
Winning the FCS or I-AA or whatever they call the pathetic division of juggernauts like Southern Illinois and Hellen Keller University for the Blind, Deaf and dumb, is like being the smartest kid with Downs syndrome. You will get some pity and some "oh they're courageous," but in the end you're still retarded.
Oh, and enjoy looking at our women. I'm sure they will be HOT!HOT!HOT!

I'm definately getting tired of Appy fans and their arrogance/ignorance. I think they need to show some respect and recognize a real championship team.

You know nothing about our academics. We are one of the best universities in NC as far as academics go. Our education program is second to none in the state. When you have to have at least a 1200 on your SATs and a 4.0 GPA to even be considered, your academics aren't a failure.
I know that that may seem cocky, but that's the truth about our academics. You seem like you don't know anything about them.
As far as the football team goes, I think we have an excellent football program for our division. I DO NOT think we are as good as LSU, not even close, but we are a force to be reckoned with in our division. If we keep it close I'll be happy!

You certainly do a fine university academically. Taking shots at another school's quality of education is pretty lame and wrong. Still,are you sure you are right up there with Duke and North Carolina ?

I live in NC and actually respect App St, but this statement is false. App St is a nice university, but it's not Duke!

Might want to check your admissions website that says you need a 2.0 to transfer to app st. Not to knock your academics, but come on a 4.0. Really?

Duke doesn't have an education program. You have to get your teacher's liscense somewhere else, like UNC, who has a very good education program. I thought about going to Duke originally just because I grew up watching the basketball team, but when I found out that they didn't really have what I want, then I decided to go elsewhere.
You also have to think about that Duke has outstanding Law and Ministry programs. Carolina has an outstanding Medical program. We have an outstanding Education program. Schools are good at different things.

Competitive admission averages from the 2006-07 freshman applicant pool:
Average Freshman high school GPA: 3.73
Average Freshman SAT: 1131
Now granted that's from 2 years ago, and it's done nothing but grow since then...
