I'm sure all of my comments below have been expressed over the past 24 hours but I just wanted to get this down in writing and DGAS if it has already been mentioned.

1) The game Saturday was probably the most exciting CFG I have seen in some time. I can't recall a more exciting game in the past years. Especially an SEC game.
2) Mettenberger looked like Peyton Manning out there shreading up a defense. He threaded the needle on several of his passes.
3) Jarvis Landry is probably the best wide receiver I have ever witnessed at LSU. He already looks like he can play on Sundays.
4) I am not dissapointed at the loss. I would have been more dissapointed had this been to Alabama.
5) Gawd help us when we play A&M....I can see them putting up 70 if things don't turn around in the secondary. That being said I actually feel we can keep with them and score 70+. Bet the over in that game.
6) Any one of those teams on the field Saturday would beat Alabama.
7) No way Les Miles cries like Mark Richt had LSU won that game.

That is all

While I believe Bama is not as good as they have been the past couple of years, lets not get ahead of ourselves. Bama still actually plays some kind of Defense.

Les Miles didn't kick off a QB he recruited who then started for the other team.

True. I wish Tiger fans would lay off Richt a bit about that. I think that Richt respects the hell out of Mett, and while he was happy to get the W, I bet part of him felt bad about it. He knew how badly Mett wanted to win and he obviously has a very good working relationship with Mett's mom.

Believe it or not, upon further review the D-line actually played better than I thought initially. There are some improvements in the run game. Sometimes the OC just makes a great call and there's not much the players can do about it unless Chavis makes a call to counter it.

Yes I was disappointed we lost to Georgia.I didn't see that coming.Mostly because the defense played so poorly. Then I thought again UGA's defense was just as bad.And what about Texas A/M playing the gumps. Both those teams had shitty defense as well.OK, did anybody really think, with the Tigers schedule, we would go undefeated this year?I don't feel Georgia is a better then us.They just got a couple more breaks then we did.Nothing more.

Our defense is a train wreck, so they are better than us in at least that regard. Also, everybody was making fun of them for holding a scrimmage last week to prepare for us. Looks like it paid off in spades. They were better prepared, better coached, and wanted it more. Maybe Chavis needs to put his horrible defense through a game-type scrimmage this week to focus on the fundamentals that we are so clearly lacking.

Their defense might have been, but that isn't saying much.

Nope. A the definition of a dead heat is a race or contest in which two or more participants tie for first place. Did the game end in a tie?

Both teams were prepared I thought. Just a couple of wide open plays for Georgia was the difference. Also I thought both teams wanted it equally. If you are defining Georgia wanting it more by having that chimp out dance prior to the half than I guess so.

Bama has got their issues on Defense straightened out. They looked very good against a good Ole Miss team that was really fired up.
