I agree. I don't think it's b/c we don't have talented QBs, but we just have very GREEN QBs. Lee could be very good.

Agreed,Lee has a rifle arm!

i was really hoping to see Lee somehow get about 20 passes so he can get more comfortable with the passing attack.

no tolliver, no pittman, and peterson is still on the redshirt fence.

Peterson played quite a bit, had 2 broken up passes, Pittman played late int he game a couple of plays, and Tolliver was on the field a couple of plays..I am hoping they were just going with the very vanilla showing, 10 am game, not giving Auburn any game film worth anything..etc. We'll be alright.
Running game was a given; however, I am really glad to see J Mitchel look like Doucet out there..good screen option

I agree with your breakdown...Only see two problems.

1) Punter....scrap everything and start all over

2) Quaterback....Needs time to develop.
Lee must stop staring down recievers and Hatch just does not have the arm to throw deep.

what about special teams?

very solid

kick-off coverage, yes.

however, if we don't get way better results in the punting game, then i would have to give the overall special teams play a B.

We dominated the line of scrimmage and had superior skill players. What else is there?

We went 5 for 14 on 3rd. down conversions--not good.

After watching some of the games (UGA, Florida, Bama, and ours), I still think we will have only one loss this season. Unfortunately, I don't think it is gonna be enough to go to the ship this season.
That said, I'll still be happy with this season when everything is said and done.

I was more impressed with Hatch than I thought I would have been. No horrible Flynn like turnovers.

That because every pass was 3 yards to the tight end or to one of the recievers on the line of scrimmage that is why he had no turnovers they were all safe safe passes you could tell he was not comfortable which is weird because he had no pressure this game they got the ball on the 40 yard line almost everytime and they could not convert on 3rd downs 5-17

Dalfrey - 4 punts for a 25.5 yard average

That part of special teams was NOT solid. That's pitiful.
