The last year of Gary Crowton offense their were complication lining up correct, getting the play in on time, and wrong assignments on the field. CLM made a statement saying he wanted to simplify the offense to one read assignments. A couple years later that's exactly what we have. We run the same I formation toss dive which carry the same blocking scheme. There's no pulling of the guards, no counter plays, no misdirections, and stretch runs to the outside. Our offense is being run by two offensive line minded coaches what more can we expect.

CLM needs an OC and let him run it. Les is the head coach not a coordinator.

Lsu offense is boring, although we are winning. Other so-so teams offense makes Lsu look like a Jr. college. U never see any miss direction plays & seldom a screen pass. Oh well I will take 10 & 2 with our schedule this year. We could have the gumps schedule & played Sister Mary's school for the blind almost every week.

Really hoping CLM goes out and hires a good offensive coordinator. He was smart enough to see that Malveto didn't work, maybe he is smart enough to see we were a good coordinator away from Miami this year! Oh, yeah, and do away with the frickin Mett cave!!

It looks like we run goal line offense inside the 20s. I will definitely take a 10-2 season. No negatiger here, just wanna see more creativity from the offense

If you don't see pulling guards, I'm not sure what you're watching.

I see slant right slant left or straight up double first level advance to second level blocking.. lot of times I see people looking around for someone to block

Turner and Collins pull all the time. Collins was pulling on long TD run against SC. Turner pulls quite a bit, a lot of times there's no hole to get through to make a block but he's pulling.

Not trying to argue with you, what I am saying is we don't run creative plays enough, just smash mouth all game. For instance the cross buck play they ran last year with kenny hilliard against auburn. The majority of Spencer ware runs last night were the same dive up the middle. This is the SEC, we can overpower most but not all game running the same formation and plays. scheme wise defense make adjustment and we don't

We have the talent to do it though. The reason you see so much 'scheming' from teams like ULM for instance is that they don't have the talent to line up, play simple football, and expect to win. For them, they MUST get crazy with the plays or they can't win.

That's not a problem we generally have.
