Im from kentucky and made the drive all the way down to the game this past weekend and it was amazing. It was the holy land to me but one thing almost ruined my whole trip. Why in the great blue sky would you boo your own qb. Like shite if a recruit was there they wouldnt want to come knowing that if you start a game bad your going to be booed off the field. Regardless I wanted to see Harris play but I think you cheer AJ on. Even peyton manning has bad games so why would you expect AJ to be perfect every game. And I can guarantee that the people booing were the ones that left early. It was certainly the worst game to go to. I love LSU but I hate the fans sometimes.

Should have come down when JJ was playing...could have seen some more booing...

I don't boo, but people are going to boo, just part of the game...get over it already...

Bro, I don't boo but defend the people who did.

They were not booing the kid.

They were booing the coaches coming out with the same crap offense and the poor execution. They were also booing the fact the everyone in the entire world can see that Harris is better for the team.

We've booed just about every quarterback who's ever started a game at LSU. We've also booed/spoken poorly of just about every other player or the entire team after bad performances. This has nothing new and has nothing to do with being spoiled. It's a wonder we were ever able to convince a decent player to come here after the way we treated Jamie Howard, Josh Booty, Wade Richey, Jefferson, Lee, Flynn (at times), Demetrius Hookfin, and I'm sure there are others. I vividly remember the stadium booing because we didn't blow out San Jose State in the late 90s.

Yeah those dumb fans that figured maybe the backup could do better than 0 wins in the conference...

First of all, not all 100,000 boo. However, that said, it was a representative enough amount that it DID sound bad. But no where NEAR the whole staadium boos.
I HATE when an entire fan base or, in this case, an entire stadium population in attendance, gets blamed for a minoirty of idiots.

Secondly, I would bet that the overwhelming majority who DID boo were booing THE PLAY CALLING, thus Cameron and Miles, NOTTTTTTTTTTT Jennings. Of course, it is hard to distinguish that to players and recruits.

"Of course, it is hard to distinguish that to players and recruits."

Yes, it really is. It is amzing to me how people rationalize their behavior. Booing hurts the program.
