I've never said rest days I said pitch on 4th day since last start. I know what rest days are.

My original point that I've clearly botched was this:
MLB pitchers go on 4 days rest sometimes. Since Poche (not Lange) would be on 4 days rest if he went tonight, is that totally out of the question?

As already pointed out to you...
We were throwing whole staff in one game this series. What would be the point of putting Poche against this dude, add to that he's on short rest, and potentially losing. Then coming back with whole staff tomorrow?
Doesn't it make a shitload more sense to give Poche normal rest, plus match him up against a lesser pitcher in game 2??

Matchups. We have an advantage with Poche tomorrow that would be nullified against this guy today. We have to throw out of the bullpen one game so we do it tonight and have a better advantage tomorrow and Wednesday
