First, I'd like to say that the defense played amazing today. Welter actually had an above average game and the secondary played lights out. It was a great day defensively considering we were without our best DL. Definitely one of our best defensive performances all year. The future is extremely bright on this side of the ball.

Offensively, it wasn't as good of a day, but hey what'd y'all expect when we were breaking in a new QB? Jennings played like a true freshman in his first start and is definitely rough around the edges, but everything that I saw today is correctable (and I fully expect CC to correct them). He was hit or miss on his throws, however he did make some nice throws that should have been caught but were dropped. His pocket awareness was bad. He looked like a deer in headlights out there. These definitely weren't the ideal conditions for Jennings' first start. It is what it is but now that he has his first game jitters out I expect him to improve. Hill was stellar as always. The stiff arm on the last TD run to ice the game was amazing. He'll be sorely missed next year assuming he's gone.

Special teams was off the charts today minus the KO return late in the game. Keehn's punting was the best I've seen all year and the punt coverage was all over the return man before he even caught the ball. Hopefully he's finally found his groove.

Overall, this game left a lot to be desired. It should have been a blowout in spite of the weather, but more importantly this game will serve as good film study material for the team heading into the spring. I was impressed by our defense but the offense is still a mystery to me.

I don't recall those.

I'm a glutton for punishment... I'm waiting for his specific instances of dropped passes.

Didn't Landry have one? I recall another, but don't remember who the intended receiver was.

Landry had one and Neighbors had one as well. Also a few passes that were on target that were just well defended.

A defender on you knocking the ball out isn't a drop. I don't remember any flat out drops today.

I enjoyed the recap, I agree with it all. Looking forward to the QB competition we'll have this spring. Yes Jennings looked bad and yes I think he's very correctable, but he had a chance to make a huge case for being the starter in 2014 and kinda blew it. That being said, I know our staff is smart enough to wait until a dry field to see if Jennings or Harris is our guy.

As did I. Unfortunately, many of today's generation aren't capable of reading more than three sentences.

Anybody just see Blake Bortles run the bootleg? Why the hell didn't we try this even once? After 6 consecutive running place up the middle, we could have caught them off gaurd.

Ran a bootleg, he was sacked.
