Move Duplantis to 9 hole and watch him break out of his slump. Freeman, as lead off, is pretty good as well!

Duplantis was arguably the best hitter this season. Leave him be.

I agree the umps generous strike zone doesn't benefit a hitter that waits on pitches.

Coach is that you? I wish people would go back and look at Skip's teams. Tax day came around his lineup was pretty much concrete. This crap of changing the lineup every game is not good for this team....but that just my opinion. The only one in that lineup that should have a question mark is Pap. Then he goes donkey yesterday. Leave it be. Hope the bats get hot again soon...

Freeman
Duplantis
Kramer
Fraley
Diechmann
Beau
Chris Reid
Pap
Bryce

I like the idea of moving Freeman at 1 to get on base. I think Duplantius is the best person at bat to move him over be it Hit and Run or sac bunt.

Bryce in the 9 hole because of the high on base precentage when the top of the order comes back around.

It is a very reasonable suggestion.

Freeman at 9 is the best part of the lineup. That dude is the perfect 9 hole lead off send it back to the top of the order guy.

I've always been an advocate for speed in the 9 hole going back to the top. I think Bryce should stay somewhere like 6-7. Keep Papi at 8.

I dunno, I guess. I'm not a fan of totally flipping the lineup we've been using at the most critical junction of the season. Duplantis has been money leading off basically all year and Freeman is great in the 9 hole. I'm for letting Duplantis work his way out of his mini slump where he is

This

It's almost like the strikezone expanded for him.
Pitches up and away were rung up

Yeah, i'm sure most pitching staffs don't care much when throwing to the 9 hole hitter who's one of the best hitters on the team. They probably just assume he sucks and throw him fat fastballs every pitch so they can get to the top of the order faster.
