Most evident, no surprise, is Omaha experience

I'm not going to say we are in our current predicament solely because of the "been there" mantra, and yes we have a handful of players that made the trek two years ago. However, I have to believe the juco guys and a sophomore pitcher that have been rocks for this team and displayed great leadership throughout the season could have benefited from something more than a regional loss the year before. On the flip side you see teams like Virginia who are arguably a team that snuck in this year, playing like they belong in the show. It just proves how important it is to make getting to Omaha part of your team culture.

That said, I think LSU history certainly couldn't hurt to have another story worthy of the lore. One pitch at a time let's make some noise.
