That is not the point and this is why Alleva is a BUMBLING idiot who is single handily destroying LSU athletics.
The issue is this; almost ALL experts think that LSU is a top 10 college football program in the country and a few experts think it is a top 5 "I personally feel we are #6 or #7" but the point being LSU is at least a Top 10 program in the country.
My question to all the Cherri-O's is where do you put Ed Orgeron in the college football HC list. What number would you put him at?
That is the issue he isn't even in the top 25 of coaches out there. So if we weren't ever going to get Herman or Fisher we should have at least done enough vetting where we had more options that Ed Orgeron. Bottom line is Alleva thought he didn't need a contingency plan and he obviously did. If Coach Orgeron was our contingency plan than it proves he just sat on his arse the past 2 months and didn't do any vetting of other coaches.

That in itself is the problem...there should have been 6-8 names on the list...not 1. Fleck, McIntyre, Brohm, Taggert, to mention a few, are for more qualified than Orgeron

A thread discussing a local media's personal viewpoint has an anchor? WTF? It's on a radio station that carries a lot of the official LSU Radio programming.

He's not wrong. We're a university that deserves dime pieces, yet we settle with a 1. A fricking 1. This will be the downfall for us and it sets up back 10 years IMO.

You can have a list as long as my leg of guys you think are better coaches than Orgeron. How many of them want to coach in Baton Rouge? That's the question.
