So based on this logic we should beat them by 30 next year. Thanks.

Last year has no bearing on this year. Two different teams for everyone. The SEC is down this year, so we will see how the season plays out. I do think this Miss St team is one of the best in the SEC this year, though likely not as good as Bama. I could easily see them finish 2nd in the West and even overall record based on the other teams I've watched.

That said, they still have no business beating us the way we did. Freshman or not, there are some great classes and too much talent on this team to allow that to happen.

The sky is lower than it was last week, but it's not falling.

Obviously a bad loss, but take the following into account.

1. Dline Depth is bad and the importance was put on full display against MSU. Lawrence and Big Ed make this a completely different team.

2. MSU could be a very good team. We really don't know. I know the feeling is they won't challenge for the West, but no one knows that.

3. In 2014 Auburn absolutely blew our doors off in a similar situation, we won 4 SEC games that year and took Bama to overtime in what should have been a win.

4. Momentum is always understated in CFB. Had the first touchdown counted the game could have turned out very differently with the same exact team.

I'm not here to support O or the catastrophe that was on display, but there is no reason to go running for the razors quite yet.

The same Ms state team that went 6-7 last year also had 9 juco players come in in the 2017 signing class. # 1 defensive end #1 defensive tackle # 2 safety # 2 offensive guard #3 defensive tackle # 4 safety #5 offensive tackle # 6 defensive end #7 safety

Boy I feel better knowing we just lost to a JUCO team....

That's what you got from the post? They didn't just get anyone from a random juco, they got the number 1 DT and DE plus some depth with the other guys. If O does what he said Monday LSU may have a load of jucos come in next year on both LOS.
