Misery in Losing

The Internet allows every little crybaby person who's feeling a little sad or mad because his favorite college team is losing a game to immediately publish his misery for all to see. When joined by the other little crybaby individuals, they all feel empowered to demand that (1)coaches be fired; (2) athletic directors be fired; (3) players be benched; (4) etc. etc. etc. They vest themselves with righteousness to declare someone incompetent, lazy, overrated, unskilled, etc. etc. etc.

That so many people's happiness depends on whether his team wins or loses is disturbing to me. These are games, folks. Not life and death issues.
