I think it had more to do with a coach that could replace the gap that Chavis left with the LBs. And, the failure was not recognizing how important it is to have someone who can oversee and make damn sure all aspects of the defense are prepared.

Either way, it's a failure of a search. And, while I agree that it's possible Steele may actually do well here, I don't think it's likely.

That's why Coach O will not be coming here.
