You are right. you can also choose players on any team and say without their contributions their teams wouldn't have won. So I don't see the point.

The coaches did well knowing when they needed to put lee in. He helped us win some games. It was a good decision by them when they played him.

Getting rid of Miles is your goal?

No.

Lee, who won multiple games is gone. Les who had not a clue that we needed Lee, is still here. I would like a coach that had a clue. Where there is heat, there is light. I want enough heat so our coach will say (if only to himself). What a frick up I was in 2009-2011.

But I'll have to see it to believe it

Miles said that if he could he would definitely do things different. My question is what else do you want him to say? It's like yall won't stop until there is blood
at this point I don't know if Les can say anything to chang my opinion of him and the way he treated Lee. Other than coming out and admitting that he, not his staff, screwed up. And he is embarrassed by the way he treated Lee. But we know that won't happen and it probably could/would hurt recruiting.

The one thing through everything that has happened since Miles has been here is that Miles has been thought of as a man of character.... Not anymore.. As a coach you have to respect the W/L record but many will never consider him a man of character again...

I'll give you 2010 and some of 2011 for qb mismanagement. But '09 doesn't really count in this situation. Jj had a pretty solid year. He definitely regressed since then. 2010 was bad. As was the last two games of this year.

But for miles to be able to lead this team to 11-2 and then 13-1 with an SEC title with the qb issues we had, that seems like it would be credit worthy, right?

Miles seems to have a clue about winning 24 games in two years.

You don't want to let go do you? You are defining yourself my your anger aren't you?

I love both our quarterbacks because of the hard work they put out for their team. Having said that, JJ was obviously in over his head when a quality defense is expecting him, and a sub par passer to boot. JL will, probably until the end of time, hold the career record for interceptions thrown against AL (7 in case you're wondering). I expect things too look up next season.

We see different sides of the same coin

Miles would be no where near that without Lee, but for some inexplicable reason, Miles ran from a better season. Lee never saw the field vs. Ark '10 (lost) Ga '11 (warning sign) Bama '12 (lost). Miles used Lee to get there, then pissed on him when he was arrogant enough to think he could do it without him.

That is your opinion and you are entitled to it. I just think it is an overreaction in this situation to say the man does not have character because of one personnel decision that I am sure we do not have all the facts about.

Lee seems like a great guy. He doesn't seem to harbor ill will towards anyone. He has answered interview questions with class all the time. Unless he is lying in his interviews which i doubt, I'd say he doesn't have disdain for anyone.

I'm glad he is a tiger for life.

I agree miles made some questionable qb decisions but I really, really doubt he hates lee or didn't play him out of spite like many believe.

Why hasnt Miles called to offer encouragement, wish Lee well, praise him for his All-star game, offer some solace?? No contact, at all as I read it

You can say it was a personnel decision, but I disagree. Miles has some inner demon regarding this kid

I'm not sure if you follow recruiting, it's not like miles has been sitting idle since then. He has been on the road like 8 out of the 11 days since the game. He mentioned that lee played well in the press conference the other day.

I just don't see that there really is a personal dislike. He might have a player dislike though.

Wah Wah Wah...Miles...Wah Wah Wah...Lee...Wah Wah Wah...Jefferson. Different day, same old thread and crying while ignoring all other arguments.

C'mon. A phone call? Miles called Erin Andrews after the peep video surfaced to encourage her. But not Lee? Miles knows how low Lee must feel. Yet nothing?

although I ardently disagree with you on the QB debate, I think you are man enough to question Miles' actions since 1/9??

What is truly sad and unfortunate is that there are some of you that have developed an irrational hatred of Les Miles. This hatred prevents you from enjoying a monumental season. What makes it all the worse is that you are hiding behind Lee to justify that hatred.

You are no better than you accuse Miles to be. You are using Lee as nothing more than an object to further your agenda.

That is truly sad on so many levels. I pity you. I truly do.

Slow your roll. Miles took the time to do one-on-ones with every returning player. Sorry, but he could have made time for Lee

I commend lee and believe he tried his hardest except for la tech game where he just seemed to give up. But honestly none of is can sit here and say jordan didnt do what was asked of him either. Both guys were in a shitty situation and both guys were just beliw average qbs. Its that simple.
