Never thought I'd see it. Thinking back, there were times when I hoped Miles owuld quit (and do the prudent thing) but he just kept pressing. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't.

He quit last night.

So you want a head coach who factors in fan's opinions in his decision making?

I don't really think that should be the issue at all. I want a coach that is capable of admitting he made a mistake and puts his team in the best position to win. He proved last night that he was willing to let the sink ship just so JJ could play. Why? He liked the way JJ's feet were moving out there.

Cool. So, when does that start? Playing to win the game that is.

The interesting thing is, when this happened last year he inserted Lee for a spark and got it.

This year, Lee has inproved tremendously and Miles refuses to insert him at all.

Les explained that he did not want to put Lee in a bad position because the Oline couldn't block the Alabama defense. I kept hoping Lee would get a chance, even though he is not as mobile as JJ. Lee, I think, makes quicker reads and gets the ball out sooner, so the ball would be gone before pressure got to him. JJ looked like he did last year, completely confused and holding on to the ball too long. For those that say the LSU gameplan did not include down the field passes, that is the fault of the coaches who did not put in any adjustments to the gameplan since Nov. 5.

He has the reputation of being petulant, hard headed, and loyal to a fault, so yes.

So...he threw his O-line under the bus then? Which is it. By the way you are INFERRING he said that. That is not what he said.

this is a sad excuse and makes no sense for the reasons you explained.

JJ has been sacked more and fumbles more than Lee in fewer games. Lee gets the ball out quickly and throws the ball away if his options arent open more than not.

I love Miles, but damn. dudes full of shite right there.

This is true. I wonder at the first moment we pulled J Lee for good why we would want to revert to last year's offense.

It is pretty comical in hindsight we might have lost on nov. 5th the same way we lost today but at least you made the correct decision in switching it up?

Then you would think Les would have really had some kind of magician shite going on. Who knows with J Lee in there gunning it out this time we know he has looked great this year though for what we were trying to do, but instead helped other defenses out?

Exactly. That wasnt a game plan to win. It was a gameplan to let a clock tick to zero. Saban just put his foot on LSU's throat and Miles adjusted to make Sabans toes a little more comfortable.
