Let's make this thread last until a starter is named! Ok, I'll do my part:

Jarrett Lee should just transfer because he will never see the field again.

Go!

However, stating that Saturday night in Death Valley is a better venue and more enjoyable than watching Le Petite Theater is just a fact.
That is just as subjective. There are some who prefer play-acting to football and would see the little theater as a more preferable venue.

IMHO and FWIW to think JL is miles behind JJ just aint so.

Only pressure/adversity situation JJ played in was last drive agaqinst ark... we didnt complete a pass.

JL on the other hand was put in many adverse situations, some occasions he did well others he didnt.

IM anxious to see how JJ does when its his time on the chopping block, GOd forbid he doesnt live up to "expecations" yall have put on him. I suppose RS and CG can be the next sacrificial lambs.

Whether you want to admit it or not

JL never was down by 1 point with less than 30 seconds on the clock. Its an awful situation to be in. JL was in a simliar situation against alabama in OT and he threw a pick, atleast JJ kept the ball in our possesion.

first, why are you saying god forbid, you would be loving it.
second, I havent put any huge expectations on him. He played better than Jarett Lee and all im saying is I think he will continue to play better than Jarrett Lee. I dont see those as very high expectation to meet.

He was in Atlanta, so I don't know why you think so much has changed since then.

We all trust Miles to make the right decision. Most of us think that will be JJ. Really, even if JL did win the starting job, does anyone here really have cnofidence in him? It was so frustrating all year long with the INTs and how lethargic the team played by the time Ole Miss came to town. I just cant imagine what could happen over 3 weeks of spring ball to change all that, other than injury.

I dont understand this post at all. The logic is 8 games of crapy QB play from one QB, vs 2 games of good QB play from another QB!

let me help you understand.

the verdict is still out on JJ... after JL's first 2 games its safe to assume most LSU fans didnt see the int problem unfolding the way it did.

BETTER.?

Lee, who was 100% healthy per Lee and Miles, couldn't even get a snap in garbage time vs. GTech.

2 games, yes. . .but they were the last 2 games

could we possibly agree that LM thought JJ needed the snaps more than JL did,,, im sure in his mind he was thinking both qbs will be needed in 2009.... thats just a total fuking guess though.

i wouldnt say he didnt do "anything".... however his 2nd half performances from both games he started were mediocre.

I still cant see this. After JL first two game he had 2 pick sixes and some other ints on top of that. JJ in his first two starts/ three games has only had one interception.

it depends, some of your comments have been way out there but some I have to say are doing a good job defending JL

Just wait till JJ plays Florida we will see how well he will do. next year with an inexpierenged line and a young fullback, our offense may be worse than last year.

I personally feel we have the depth on both lines, I mean they were both switched in and out all last year so lots of the newbies coming have seen the field. FB kinda worries me but not much.

And why be so pessimistic about the coming season
