yep...he could be a total dud. If he comes in for a series or two & does nothing, what are we out?
Absolutely nothing, my point is as long as everyone is willing to accept a lose in both of the last two games to see Harris then so be it. Say what you will, but AJ beat Ole Miss and almost beat Alabama looking mediocre.
ETA: And im not saying we lose with Harris, but as long as you are willing to accept that as the worst case scenario, then its all good.
How would playing Harris for a SERIES be an automatic loss? I'm saying a series or two...not a qtr or two. Just a change of pace to see if he has progressed any. Don't see how a Harris 3 & out would be any different from a Jennings 3 & out?
I've said it a million times....give him 10 pass plays to run. Heck that's half of what we throw now. Our run game isn't anything eccentric, so he should be fine with the running plays.

Don't you remember from your glory days of playing QB in the SEC?
Way to add to the conversation funny guy....my point being is that our running game isn't very fancy. Effective and brutal, but not fancy. Not like we are running the triple option & it's all on the qb to make every read. But I'm sure you know that from your days playing big time college football too!
