I cannot remember this kind of excitement about LSU football since 1958 and '59. This Team has the same feeling to me and Miles is acknowledging he sees the same thing.

Did you sleep through 2003, 2007 and 2011 among other recent years.

And REMIND me how that ended and what happened. This Team is greater, much greater than that one.

What does how the 2011 season ended have anything to do with the feeling DURING the season?

seriously???!? Remind me of what this team has done that is ANYWHERE close to the accomplishments of 2011! We are only 4 games in for crying out loud.

OK, I am bookmarking this so we can come back at the end of the season and one of us can say the other called it.

Let's slow down a bit. I love this year's team, but 2011 would blow the doors of of them.

That defense was just sick.

That has absolutely nothing to do with the topic. You said there was more excitement about this team than any other team since 1958.

And that simple isn't true. We knew in 2011 it was a special defense and we expected to win the SEC.

This year we had no idea what to expect and many thought we'd finish with 3 or more loses.

There is hype over 1 player on this team. That's it.

Hopefully we will continue to win and end up ranked slightly higher that the 2011 team did. But your premise is still way off.

See I hear you saying the the Team you are talking about is the Offensive TEAM. I am talking the TOTAL team, no LSU team has matched that since the 58 and 59 Teams, both Off and Def, nothing since this Team Now which are both Championship Caliber

The Chinese Bandits were born in '58, many of us wore Cooley Hats in the stadium the entire game Can you imagine Tiger Stadium with an Asian Flair

. Fine by me. But I'm not calling anything other than pointing out that no one in their right mind can say that this team barely 3 games in has accomplished more and is more exciting than that 2011 team. I'd like nothing more than this years team to win it all but just because 2011 laid an inexplicable egg on 1/9/12, takes nothing away from the amazing things done before in the season.
