Everyone saying they feel bad for Les, or that we should let him have one more year because he's just such an awesome human being doesn't know much about football.
The guy played Alleva for a pay raise with the "I'm going to Arkansas bullshite".
His team has almost always looks unprepared in the big games and he doesn't have a clue what's going on.
What he did for Sid was nice but I would hope and truly think any head football coach we bring in would do something similar.
The dude doesn't need you to feel sorry for him he is about to make a lot of money.
I'll take getting fired for 15 mill any day of the week.

In the larger scope of things, it really is hard to feel bad for a guy that is going to shut it down at 61 or 62 with generational money in the bank.

The frick do you care how much money he makes? And does it even matter? Will make no difference in the future of the team.

Does the word agent mean anything. He represents Miles and does his bidding. The agent doesn't do these things without the approval of his client.

Agents don't act unilaterally without their client's consent.

And if Miles' agent did, Miles could have easily and quickly corrected the agent's mistake.

That one was on Alleva. Arkansas never wanted Miles. That was Jeff Long helping out his old Michigan buddy.

Well knowing from experience, an agent does nothing without the knowledge of the client.

The agents JOB is to maximize his client's earnings. If you think Les Miles was the mastermind behind the Arkansas bluff, okay. I'll grant you Miles could have objected but why would he?

Miles is financially secure for the rest of his life. He will never have to worry about having to pay bills again. He gave us a lot of good years and was compensated for it. I feel no pity.
