Then-No. 4 LSU lost 13-3 to No. 1 Florida, gaining just 162 yards, including 44 in the second half when the Tigers never crossed midfield. Miles has second-guessed Crowton for everything from not getting running backs Charles Scott and Trindon Holliday enough touches to Crowton failing to play cat-quick multi-purpose freshman Russell Shepherd to Crowton's playcalling.

"Charles Scott had four yards a carry, and Trindon Holliday six," Miles said. "And you think to yourself that maybe we should hand those guys the ball a little more.

"We didn't have protection for over-the-top throws in the second half. We probably just needed to continue to run the football. Had we done that, we would've gotten some more first downs and put us in a position to make some more play-action throws."

LSU ran just 47 plays and had the ball for less than 24 minutes. Miles criticized Crowton's in-game adjustments.

"When they have the ball like they did," Miles said of Florida's time of possession dominance, "you've got to play your best stuff. You can't wait for another drive. It's got to be the things that you can execute."

Who is the HC?
Shouldn't he have veto power?

nothing pisses me off more than having to watch a game in which the opponent dominates the time of possession.

it sucks.

I guess this clarifies that Miles does not have impact on the offense. So what he doing to earn that 3 million plus contract he has?

and we were doubled up on that staff, or nearabouts?
Again, back to why the HC doesn't make the executive decision to change the gameplan.

I love it. The first 5 game, Miles meddled too much, now he doesn't meddle enough. Goddamn our fans are fricking brilliant.

Don't know. Still trying to recover from watching one of the most frustrating games I've seen.

Our problem is the players are too young, we were too nervous out there

we need more experience

watch we will improve big time on the offense for the rest of the season

all the mistakes we made in the Florida game and we only lost by 10

what did most say would be our problem with this team, the defense, it happens every year, the press will say what our main weakness will be and it ends up being our strength

you all are in panic mode

we have a rookie quarterback and didn't we lose three offensive linemen because of graduation

where are we deepest at, what position, wide receiver, so we threw more, that is a good decision

and what was the score of the Florida/LSU game last year, wasn't somethang like 55-21

While I completely agree with that assessment, it doesn't sound like Miles at all. Link?

ETA: Read the link. Good for Miles. I think every LSU fan that watched the game thought the same thing.

I don't see where Miles is throwing Crowton under the bus. He said "we" in every statement. One thing Les has never done is thrown other coaches/players under the bus. I truly think that Les is including himself in those statements.

I'll be the first to admit I blamed Miles for screwing with the offense too much. This after Hester said Miles overrides a lot of Crowton's calls at an autograph day in Bossier. Now I don't what to think. Miles acts like he doesn't know shite about the offense.

Wasn't there a bunch of people on here recently bitching because they thought Miles' WAS controlling the offense?

If he is controlling the offense...he sucks.
If he isn't controlling the offense...he's not earning his money.

Make up your frickin' mind.

I'm just saying if your the HC and you a problem it's his job to a least fix it. shite he's the HC. He just can't just stand on the sidelines looking lost. Immediately fix the problem.

If theses quotes are accurate it clearly sends a signal that Miles has had it with Gary's Cuteness on offense. He's fed up.

I'm confident Crowton is gonzo after this season

All of these quotes are in the Shreveport Times article from yesterday regarding the ridiculous raises, and Miles makes it very clear that he is pissed off about the playcalling and by inference that he is not calling the plays!
